Thank you so much for your interest in the FASTer Way To Fat Loss®!  I cannot wait to share more information and hopefully welcome you into my next round!

 

If you’re wondering what the FWTFL actually is, you’re not alone.  So I thought I would give you the basic details on the program. While I know that you have already received a teaser email regarding the program, I did want to make sure to send the HOW, WHO, WHERE, WHEN for you, so you get a good feel of the program.

 

WHAT:

Fitness and Nutrition Program designed to help teach your body to burn fat for fuel by incorporating Intermittent fasting, carb cycling, and macro tracking and quick, effective workouts.

 

WHY

For so many reasons!  Maybe you can’t seem to shave off those stubborn inches.  Maybe you have significant weight to lose.  Maybe you have plateaued in your health goals.  Maybe you feel stuck and unmotivated.  Maybe you have no energy and find yourself irritable throughout the day.  Maybe you are killing yourself in the gym, eating like a bird and still not seeing results.  Maybe you like to eat carbs or have a cocktail but hate the guilt.  Maybe you have tried so many other programs without success or sustainability.  Maybe you want to finally do something for yourself.  

 

HOW:

We incorporate 3 main strategies in the FWTFL.  

 

Intermittent Fasting:  IF is an eating schedule.  We do not skip out on any food intake, in fact in most cases we beef it up!  We will incorporate a 16/8 feeding schedule.  Typically, we break our fast around noon and finish consuming around 8pm, then fast again until Noon the next day.  This can be adjusted for different schedules.   You are permitted to drink water, coffee, black tea - none of these things will break your fast.  This fasted state will allow for greater cell turnover and allows our body to have a rest from the digestion process we put it through all day. Intermittent fasting is the first step in teaching your body to look for fat for fuel.  Your body doesn’t see the food coming in, so it must turn to fat for fuel.

 

Carb Cycling:  Carb cycling is an intentional variation in carbohydrate intake.  We will incorporate two low carb days into the week.  We’ll aim to consume less than 50 (100 for men) net grams of carbs those days.  This will deplete our glycogen stores so once again our body has no choice but to look to fat for fuel.  We will eat a higher than normal amount of fat on these days to make up for the carb deficiency.  

 

Macro Tracking:  We will track our food each day in My Fitness Pal (MFP).  While I know this seems daunting to some, MFP has a very extensive food log and once you enter a food, it will auto populate making things much easier the next time.  This tracking makes sure we are hitting the right amount of carbs, proteins, and fats throughout the day.  It truly isn’t a cumbersome process - the key is to not overthink it!

 

WHO:

Anyone!  Truly anyone.  The benefits of this program not only include fat loss, but also mood stabilization, heightened energy, hormone balance, muscle gain, and so much more!   All ages, heights, weights.  We even have many new moms who are breastfeeding as well!  If you are ever wondering if you are an ideal client and want to know more, please reach out to me.  

 

WHERE:

Comfort of your home!  I will conduct a live call training each day of prep week in order to ensure you have all the information you need as well as tips to succeed, and then one every couple weeks to check in and further provide guidance.  The group is run through a private group on facebook.  Here, you check in each day with a screen shot of your day via MFP so we can all stay accountable!  If you don’t have facebook, think about getting a “dummy” account and join under that name.  It’s fun to be a part of the group!  If not, I can always email you the updates.  

 

WHEN:

My next round will begin May 3rd!  We will start with a prep week and then have 5 weeks after that.  In prep week, we learn about all the different aspects of the program.  We spend a lot of time learning and begin to implement.  You are not expected to fully incorporate the lifestyle at this point but rather just learn and try some of the tactics here and there.  The Monday after prep week is when we will officially kick start ourselves and begin the process of melting that fat!
