Let's Skip the BS (bad stats)

Dear Clients and Friends,

The sun is shining, the snow is melting, and we had another busy month here at EmergeCounsel. This past April we were fortunate enough to get involved in our community.

On April 7th, we partnered with A+ Colorado, Dr. Annette Sill-Brown, and TheEduCtr to provide a free webinar on debunking myths about black students. Dr. Ivory Toldson, author of No BS (Bad Stats), led the discussion and explained some of the key myths about black students and how to combat prejudice. Scroll down to access the webinar and read more.

We also had the opportunity to support Law School… Yes We Can! pro bono with their trademark. They provide mentorship, support, skill building, and community to help students with diverse backgrounds get exposure to the law and serve as a pipeline for these students to get into law school.

Finally, as our community continues to grow, and so does your business, we want to ensure you are aware of the importance of privacy policies in this month's featured article, “Why Privacy Policies Should be at the Top of Your To-Do List."

Our best,

EmergeCounsel
