COPYRIGHT YOUR ONLINE WORK
If you’ve ever wondered whether or not you can copyright your online work, the answer is a resounding yes! You can register your tweets, Instagram posts, short blogs and Facebook posts at copyright.gov.
You are able to register up to 50 of these posts with a group application called Short Online Literary Works for a fee of $65. Two things to note:
1. There's a limit. Your content must contain between 50 and 17,500 words.
2. This registration protects only the words of your content, not the images.
If you’re a creative and you have online work, then it’s important you protect it. Keep your ideas and your content safe.
