Welcome back!

This week, we are continuing to create blocks! Here's a look at where we've been and where we are headed. Note, if you missed any of the previous weeks, you can click on it below!

If you are creating the Square Throw, you'll be making 4 blocks each week. If you are making the Large Throw, create 5 blocks per week.

How are those blocks coming along?? Seeing everyone's beautiful creations reminds me of how amazing this hobby (and this community) really is. We all have different backgrounds, nationalities, preferences, life experiences, occupations, etc….yet through our love of making something with our hands, we are bonded in such a unique way. Seeing how everyone is willing to give tips and advice to each other when someone asks a question reminds me that even though there are miles in between us, we are connected. We are making the world a more beautiful place through our desire to create something together. It's truly humbling experience when you stop and think about it. So if you're reading this, thank YOU for being here. Our community and this world is richer, more vibrant because of you!

I don't have anything new and exciting to share this week, other than two awesome prizes and this really neat embroidery idea that someones shared in the Facebook group!

Dana is turning her Nightingale blocks into a traditional friendship quilt. She's honoring her medical and nursing friends by embroidering their names in the center of her blocks. It was such a thoughtful and creative idea that I had to share! Thanks for the inspiration, Dana!
