It has been five months since we formed to help tackle the devastating rise of food insecurity in Rhode Island. In that time, we have built incredible relationships with three independently owned restaurants, and many incredible advocates who are committed to serving their communities. Through the generous support of 138 donors, we we have been able to:
- Distribute 1,216 meals in North Providence, Cranston and Warwick
- Receive a $1,300 match as part of our “March to the Match” campaign
- Secure funding to launch in two additional communities
