A team of four students in the HFT4754 Advanced Event Management course officially brought the 2021 Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) North American Student Competition FIRST PLACE PRIZE home to Gator Nation!

The team consisting of Sophia Alday, Molly Heyner, Sarah Lentz and Caroline Murray competed against 20 other submissions from nine institutions. They won an all-expenses paid trip to PCMA Education Conference 2021 in Phoenix this July to present their business event concept to an international industry audience. They will also be recognized on PCMA's website the week of May 10th and be included in a press release and article in PCMA's Convene Magazine.
