I've reached the time of year when I have 3 jobs; the first one keeping our life running, the second one designing houses, and the third as the environmental designer for the Orlando Fringe International Theatre Festival.
Which is safely in person this year! So YAY, but also, being around people for 2 whole days this week and also doing venue installs has left me feeling really emotional. Frankly, I was just so damn happy to be out of the house and doing something constructive again. To be able to see other people and to work with other humans (and friends that are like family) had me really in my feelings.
I'm also so grateful that I've been able to construct a business (and a life) that leaves space to take a 3 week sabbatical to help causes that I love, and also gives me the rest that I need to recover. And by rest I mean organizing closets which is how I relax. I can't wait.
