You’re probably wondering, what the hell is RETROSPEKT? And who are the people behind it? 

Hi! I’m Lauren Kashuk, the founder and creative director of Ideaison. We're the promoters, creators, and producers of RETROSPEKT Festival, with hubs in LA, Denver, and NYC… And now MIAMI BEACH. 

At Ideaison, our mission is to produce and market the most innovative experiences on Earth while empowering and representing all people, different and alike. We didn’t see others like us doing what we’re doing, so we set out on a mission to do so. Welcome to the fam. 

Before I founded Ideaison, I’d whip around on golf carts working backstage at some of the most loved and well-known music festivals in the US. But beyond this, I am a firm believer in manifestation: I love the universe, galaxies, and stars. And I love creative expression of all kinds- from magic to aerial work to 3D photography to, of course, music. 

RETROSPEKT was born in LA during COVID, to inspire a better future. And now, we’re

taking it LIVE, one year later, to a festival bubble at the Moxy South Beach in Miami

THIS July 10/11,2021. 

Why should you care? We’re bringing you as much music and creativity that the walls of the Moxy can hold. We’re talking about 50+ bands, DJs/Producers, singers, dancers across 3 stages, 16+ hours of music a day, and one stage even at the pool. There is a cereal bar with cartoons, 3D Projection Mapping, and drag queen brunch produced by and with some of the most fabulous queens we know. Can we talk about a VIBE? 

The best part? We’re only selling 1000 tickets. 

RETROSPEKT is limited, intimate, and most important, SAFE. All fans are required to be either COVID tested twice or to show proof of vaccine at the entrance. We take fun seriously, but we take safety seriously too. 

How do tickets work? There are only 200 rooms, so buying a ticket to the festival includes a two night stay—you are legit staying AT and IN the magic the whole time. Tickets are sold by ROOMS (so you can share with your bestie/friends, etc) of 2 of 4 people. 

Outside of that, we have 2 day tickets on sale now, and 1 day tickets will go on sale closer to the event when we release day lineups. 

We’ve announced a handful of our talent already, and you don’t even know how many more we have in store. They include Miami born Sabrina Claudio, the seductress who has hits with The Weeknd, Alicia Keys. Tycho, known for his incredible sunrise and sunset sets at festivals like Burning Man. You’ll note that we put diversity and an eclectic taste at the forefront- Judith Hill used to sing with Michael Jackson and recently got a shout out from Kelly Clarkson. Blu DeTiger's bass skills are getting her mad props on TikTok. And we’ve only just begun.

All Travel Packages include a choice of General Admission, Premier or VIP hotel accommodations for 2 or 4 people, which is inclusive of your festival ticket. You will also have the choice to add an early check-in for Friday afternoon on July 9th, as well as other exciting add-on experiences. Payment plans are now available via LYTE!
