Tonight's New Moon has a powerful sextile to Neptune, which will heighten our intuition and spiritual sensibility. Dreams can be more vivid and leave us with more lasting impressions. Now would be a good time to take notes. Lean into your intuitive gifts or your divination tool of choice (tarot, pendulums, IChing) to gain insight into your next endeavors and receive guidance about the changes you may need to make. Uranus is transiting right behind the moon, in a square with Saturn which are the themes of the limitations to change that we’ve been seeing all year.
It also serves us to look at Black Moon Lilith who is technically a point in the sky, much like the North and South Node, because she will also be conjunct the sun and moon and therefore amplified. Lilith’s energy is an ancient archetype, that of the divine “dark” feminine. She is creativity and destruction, charisma and sexuality. She can also bring up distorted or repressed emotions and energies. She revels in the taboo, plays with shadows, and reminds us that everything is a dance.
Lilith has been in the sign of Taurus since last year and will be there until this July. With her aspect to this moon and the sun, we could be feeling this energy bubbling up inside of us individually as well as in the collective. She could bring up our shadows or deeply buried emotions about our own bodies and our values, what we are keeping in the dark for fear that it's not acceptable. This new moon could be a wonderful opportunity to explore what old narratives about femininity, the body, and your material values that no longer serve you.
Admittedly, I've been on a personal journey with Lilith this last year, and I’m beginning to see the shapes of things to come around the bend both professionally and personally. I’m less afraid of the things that had previously defined my limits, and I look forward to feeling this energy rise in the collective.
