hello friends,
i'm keeping this email short & sweet because i have some exciting news: i am facilitating my favorite workshop Authentic & Impactful Speaking on June 5th!! this workshop is for speakers, presenters, & facilitators looking to present in a grounded, confident, and connected way. more below & on its home-site :)
this IG post i published a few days ago is what i am moving through: recognizing that if i am not seen, heard, invited, or with-nessing (witnessing & being with) in place or relationship, it is no longer for me. not being seen or heard is a personal felt-sense just like it's opposite. to me, its an invitation for me to move on, with no shade to those involved. it is a spotlighting of something deeper in me that needs attention. fulfillment is being able to hold all the parts of life while having a sense of authentic expression, so i'm reckoning with this and the release/grief of it all. if this resonates with you, try the self-practice below.
self-practice: take a moment to close your eyes and breathe into your belly. allow your imagination to take you to a time where you really felt seen, heard, understood. notice & savor where you sense that in your body. let go of that image, open your eyes and reflect for a bit on what spaces/people make you feel that sense? how does it differ from the sense of being misunderstood, unheard, or unseen? what does this wisdom offer you?
