Welcome to the Full Moon in Sagittarius!

Hello dear First name / one,

I feel like so much has happened in the last two weeks and we are also about to head into some of the most transformational energy of this year. This year’s Taurus season was maybe a little more active than we expected, and Gemini came in like a second wind last week. Personally, I’ve been learning how to nap—yes, learning. No, I’ve never been good at it or enjoyed them. As a Projector with a defined Heart Center, my will-power will push me to continue working beyond my physical limits even when my eyes are literally closing in the middle of the afternoon. So, finding a balance between the work I can/want to accomplish and the REAL REST my body needs has been a challenge, but I think I’ve found the key.

My friend and fellow Projector, Alexandria of alexandriarollet.com, and I are going to do a series of Clubhouse talks on the conundrum of having an undefined
Sacral Center on Wednesdays during the month of June,
so stay tuned for more!

Tomorrow we have a Super Full Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius. Yeah, say that one ten times fast. It is the second in a series of super moons, when the moon appears closer to the Earth, and the first in a series of eclipses this year. All of these elements will amplify the energy of this moon and things may feel a little more chaotic than usual. While Full Moons are generally a time to recognize what has been made manifest in our lives and to practice gratitude to what has come to completion, or identify what still needs to be done to wrap up a cycle, it will serve us to just be receptive and patient with the energy that’s swirling around this week.

Eclipses are great times of closure. This one moving over the South Node in Sagittarius will illuminate where we need to let go of being “right” and where we perhaps missed some details by only focusing on the big picture. Secrets can be revealed during this time, and it will serve to be careful with your words. In opposition to Venus and Mercury, we have the capability to speak from the heart. But even with this bend toward intimacy, it serves us to remain open minded and practice discernment. A challenging square with Jupiter can have us optimistically bypassing and perhaps veering into excess. Explore your options without commitment. Be open to adaptation. Trust that what falls away was not meant for you, even if it is frustrating, confusing or hurts.

Create a container for your chaos. Let it alchemize. No need to try to make sense of it right now, things will be clearer after the eclipse season.

Mercury is stationing retrograde at the end of the week and will be complicating communications, plans, travel, and business deals until June 21 (and maybe for a week or so afterward). Not to say that you shouldn’t move forward with things that you started before this transit. Just take the extra minute to dot your i’s, cross your t’s, double check your tire pressure, and read ALL the fine print. Glitches and lost communications are common when Mercury is retrograde, and in the season of social Gemini this can be exceptionally frustrating. Allow yourself and others some flexibility and things will all come round in the end.

FOR THE BODY

Sagittarius rules the sacrum, hips and thighs.

Incorporate some lunges and butterfly stretches into your routine. Especially if you're sedentary for most of the day, opening your hip flexors at the tops of your thighs and breathing into that space can help to release pressure in the low back as well.

â—¦

Happy Baby is a wonderfully restorative pose that releases tension in the low back. You can remain still or gently rock over your sacrum.

Be mindful not to indulge into excess during this moon. Sagittarius is also known to rule over the liver and you can support it with a little extra vitamin A, D or E if that is in alignment with your diet.

“So long as people view others in terms of good and evil,
their lives remain bound in struggle and adversity.”
Hexagram 26, Line 2, IChing: The Oracle of the Cosmic Way

The last total lunar eclipse was on January 21, 2019 and that night I threw this Hexagram for myself. Upon revisiting, I felt called to share it here with you.

Eclipses give us an opportunity to receive. Although it may not be the sweet or gentle reward we'd want, it is what will launch us ahead in our personal timelines.

Baby, don’t fear the reaper.
