hi,
Hope your long weekend was nice! I believe we all need support. It can come from family, close friends, or people we hire to support us in specific ways. For me, it takes a village.
And over the years, I’ve tried everything.I’ve worked with:
dietitians
therapists
osteopaths
reiki masters
psychics
feng shui consultants
astrologers
human design readers
a manifestation advisor
And believe it or not many more…
most useful however has been my work with three different life coaches and a creative advisor, all of whom have since been guests on the podcast.
My life is nothing I expected it would be when I was a kid. I wasn’t “expanded” [Lacy's word for seeing to believe what's possible] enough to know what was even available beyond the small town I grew up in. Working with coaches showed me options I didn't know existed for me and gave me the accountability and direction to keep going toward them. Through their support, I said yes to moving cities, traveling the world, and leaving secure jobs and relationships to live a life that isn’t perfect but is uniquely correct for me right now.
Over the years I’ve gotten to work with a few people one-on-one where I’ve been on the other side… the one providing the support through my creative consulting.
As Josh Radnor said in this episode from about a year ago,
