Let there be light! Introducing Detect Light! This feature provides information about how bright or dark your environment is, through sound cues. You can choose to be notified about the intensity of the light with varying pitch of tone or frequency of beeps, by doing a two-finger single tap within the feature. You can use this to detect whether the lights in your room are turned on or whether the computer screen is working. This feature located in the Identify category. Change voices We are bringing more customisation to Envision Glasses. In addition to the volume and speaking rate, you can now choose which voice you want Envision Glasses to speak in. To try out these new voices: go to Audio located in the Device Settings category. |

Sharing images is now easier We have improved the experience of sharing images with the Envision app to get a description or text recognition performed on it. The new version now opens Document reader of the Envision app, which makes scrolling through and saving the text a lot simpler. |

Masterclass Series Launch We hosted a virtual Master Class Event featuring some of the best and most creative influencers that have created an impact with their own craft. They taught a bit about how you can do what they do. This was launched on the Global Accessibility Awareness Day, and we had a blast! Be better today than your were yesterday - Christine Ha Christine Ha, the winner of season 3 of MasterChef US, was the first Asian winner of the show. She was also the first visually impaired person to win it as well. She's not just known for winning master chef, but she also runs an awesome Vietnamese restaurant called the Blind Goat, has published a cookbook and won the Helen Keller personal achievement award. She talks with us about her life and how she has been able to impact many lives of the blind and visually impaired. Her mantra of life is to be better today than yesterday! |
