I’m alright, physically a little more tired than usual (napping isn’t going as well as planned). But I know we’re coming over the hump of this wacky month and I feel like at least this stretch of the marathon is nearly over. Gemini season has us wanting to break the mold, to play and express ourselves, and that is really motivational energy.
However, with Mercury retrograde and this eclipse season, it will serve to be extra mindful of how we are communicating and receiving information. Maybe you’ve already experienced some interruption of transference? We’re all ready to bust out with some summer fun, but make sure everyone’s clear on the plans, there’s air in your tires (and a spare), and you’ve got some sort of physical map—’cause technology is bound to fail you at the worst time.
Let’s just get right into this moon: I hope you took note of any work you did on the full moon eclipse two weeks ago. Did anything come up for you around “being right”? Or maybe you were able to uncover some details you’d been overlooking for the sake of the big picture?
This New Moon in Gemini will peak tomorrow morning at 3:52am PST, but not before it passes in front of the sun and creates a solar eclipse at 3:43am PST. Sorry west coast friends, we aren’t going to see that beautiful annular eclipse, but for those of you on the east coast (if you’re up at 6:43am), I hope you get to enjoy that transit! You may be feeling extra talkative, or experiencing the urge to express yourself. My personal recommendation would be to do so with yourself first.
Remember Mercury is still retrograde and the other aspects of this moon can cause some confusion, distortion and deception. We have an opposition to the South Node, a square (yikes) to Neptune, plus there’s still that Saturn Rx/Uranus square which is affecting us on a collective level, showing us where systems are collapsing after being exposed as unstable last year. We may be feeling a little exhausted, maybe even short tempered. Feeling like we’re changing our minds every minute.
If I can recommend anything, it would be to spend this time getting quiet and finding trust in your inner authority. It will serve to exercise some caution, seek that emotionally neutral clarity, your heart-felt honesty, and true self-belief.
If you have Sacral or Splenic Authority, are you giving it your awareness and space to speak up in the moment?
If you have Emotional Authority, are you giving yourself the time to process all the feelings around each decision?
Are you talking out your Ego/Heart or Self-Projected Authority with a trusted sounding board?
How tuned into your environment are you to support your Mental/Environmental Authority?
Lunar loves, can you find that floating neutral space where you can tune into the energetics of what is correct for you?
The current astrology is going to make things quite cloudy for the next week, and decisions made out of alignment will challenge us for months. Without self-trust, there is no way we are going to make healthy decisions as individuals, and baby, if there was ever a time to get in touch with your internal decision maker, now is it.
I’ve seen lots of conversations around self-trust recently on social media and through in-person interactions. We’re being offered a collective up-leveling, a moment to get intimate with ourselves for the betterment of our community.
