Like we said last week, this isn't meant to be a TRM-hype publication, but we still release fantastic albums we want you to hear, so here is the debut album from The Fey - Palm Tree Shade. This album has been in the works over the last few years and was not only delayed by Covid but allowed to blossom and turn into what you hear. Palm Tree Shade is a love letter from lead singer Zach Watkins to the city of LA. He perfectly captures the glitz and lights in his genre-bending of '80s pop, meets blues, r&b, gospel, alternative, and whatever else he wants to throw in the blender of sound. The album does a great job of capturing and giving a nostalgic feeling while still staying fresh and sounding modern. This album is perfect for rolling down your windows down and driving around this summer.
