Day 12: tongue scrape!

Starting the day with a healthy habit will play a big part in the lifestyle choices you make throughout the rest of the day. Today you’re going to learn the art of tongue scraping!

 Tongue scraping is great for removing bacteria, detoxing the body, improving digestion, and overall oral health. 

 

So how the heck do you do this?! Follow these simple steps:

 

1. This is meant to be done first thing in the morning. Try not to drink water or brush your teeth before.

2. Reach scraper to the back of your tongue and scrape it forward, dragging the film to the front of your tongue. (if you don’t have a scraper you can use a spoon!)

3. Spend about 60 sec doing this, scraping all the film into the sink.

4. Follow by brushing + rinsing your mouth!

 

Keep your toothbrush clean!

Place all toothbrushes in a glass, fill with water, add 1 drop of oil per toothbrush. Let sit for 15-20min then rinse!
