Are virtual events here to stay? |
Virtual events have exploded over the past 16 months in response to physical distancing guidelines. Now that indoor and outdoor venues are opening up across the nation, we may see an increase of in-person gatherings or hybrid events. That said, I think virtual events have added to our quality of life and are here to stay. They offer an audience a whole world of creative possibilities related to time, capacity and location that were previously inaccessible. |
Maybe your organization has recently held an online event (congratulations!) and want a repeat in the near future, or perhaps you're thinking about leading one for the first time. Either way, the principles of strong user engagement and experience remain the same. I wrote a blog that details the best way to build connection and foster belonging through virtual events. And I'd love to chat if you're seeking a digital consultant who can help guide the marketing and communication aspects. Happy planning! |
