Hi friends!

I always feel that no matter what happened last week, I can always start anew every Sunday. Do you feel that? Sundays are for resetting and, as the author Daniel Pink wrote in his book When, the first day of the week is ideal for starting a new habit, so is the first day of the month or the year, We humans just love firsts

Tomorrow happens to be the Summer Solstice of 2021 which means it is going to be the longest day of the year. This makes getting the kids ready for bed more challenging “mum, it’s still day, why do we need to put on PJs already?”. The best part is that we will be having very late sunsets for the coming few weeks. This is interesting because I also found out that the longest day doesn’t mean the latest sunset, did you know that?

Here is your weekly dose of The Sunday Spark a newsletter listing 5 inspiring things I thought were worth starting your week with:

  1. I love personality tests as a starting point for self-awareness while also 100% believing that our personalities are not set in stone because we can change. It was a big moment for me when I discovered my Enneagram personality type last year. It presented the most accurate description of my tendencies. No free accurate tests for Enneagram are available yet, you need to read to find your type. The Road Back to You is the simplest, most helpful book I read to find my type.
  2. It’s World Productivity Day: Listen to these 2 podcast interviews with the author as he describes productivity by Enneagram type in part 1 and part 2.
  3. Working on a computer for years has negatively impacted my posture, I would like to start these exercises to help improve it, maybe you would too?
  4. From my desk: What to do when you don’t like your job? I initially wrote this blog post to answer a question I received from a friend and I thought why not make it a post to help others too.
  5. A quote to remind you to avoid the comparison’s trap whenever you are starting something new:

"Never compare your beginning to someone else’s middle."
