July is almost here!
Hope your summer is off to a fantastic start! It's been pretty hot and dry around here but we've had a few wet sprinkles of rain the last few days and it's felt very refreshing to say the least.
Just wanted to pop in, say hello, and share a few tidbits of what we've been up to the last few weeks.
We've been busy bees
Setting the gallery back up, reopening, doing outside yard tasks– we've been busy! We've all been running around a lot and doing, well.. a lot of things!
we're open again
It's beyond thrilling to be open again and welcoming guests back into the studio & gallery! It was a long 14 months of being closed to the public. It's great to be back in the swing of things. And, we have new hours!
Open every day 10am - 5pm
the garden Got planted
We planted so many things ! Last year, we planted a huge zucchini & squash patch. This year, we added a perimeter of flowers. We're soft planning on selling freshly cut flowers this summer when they fully come into season. Stay tuned for more details about that.
wildlife updates
So far this year, we've caught 3 baby raccoons. To the delight of our 4 year old grandson, the latest raccoon was discovered in the live trap on Father's Day. He was enamored with watching if run out of the trap and into the weeds to find his family. Good times.
studio work is happening
In addition to making the run mugs, we've been back in the studio making lots of other pieces as well. We've currently got about 3 kiln loads ready to fire. Which means – new pots will be available very soon in the gallery & on the website. A website/shop update will be coming soon. Stay tuned for more details.
new work arriving Daily
We've been ordering up a storm lately. Lots of new items are arriving every day. Earrings, wooden boxes, felted “taxidermy” animal heads, African woven baskets, hanging glass balls, snuggle lovies, sculptural garden art, and more!
