100 Ideas Session
Host a 100 ideas session.  It's fun, energetic, and inspiring. 

Start with an opportunity area (something you want to change or grow), set aside an hour, gather the team, and ask the team to brainstorm up to 100 possible ideas around that topic--no idea is a bad idea. Just scribble one idea per post-it note (or share virtually some other way if that's still your world!) Download this exercise below.

Start with a question
When we set agendas for meetings, while they are helpful, it usually means that every meeting is started with telling and sharing information.  In an information overload society, you and your team might find some welcome relief in starting a meeting with a positive and refreshing question.  It changes the way a meeting feels and shifts the focus from what you want to tell in the meeting to what you want to experience in the meeting.

Then, when it's time to share information, there's a connection, rhythm and engagement already established in the conversation. 

Here are a few ideas for meeting starter questions to change your meetings up.

BALANCE
Clear the calendar.

It seems counterintuitive, but making meetings more meaningful means that sometimes less is more!  

Start here.  Pick a day each week that you clear the calendar of all meetings.  If you want to hold some space for impromptu coffee talk or questions, go for it, and communicate clearly that there is no agenda, no strings attached.
