love note xo

Your soul needs time for solitude and self-reflection. In order to love, lead, heal, and create, you must nourish yourself first. —Louise Hay

Greetings, love. I hope this note finds you happy and healthy.

Since returning from our month plus road trip (hear about the experience), I've been in move and reflect mode. Move and reflect. Rinse, repeat.

Move: jaunt to NYC for six hours of ballet and four hours of jazz concerts, enjoyed numerous tea dates, moved into a new therapy office space, worked from the woods of WV for a week.

Reflect: returned to memoir writing, hit the pause button on output while I consciously create some shifts (TBD), lots of reading, walking, and ballet.

While I didn't intend to go MIA from your inbox over the past month, somehow it happened with all the movement blended with reflection. I'll be taking August off from Love Notes and much of social media to settle into my new office (photo above and more to come), consider downsizing, and listen within.

The last time I took a short break was four years ago as I was selling my yoga studio, Tranquil Space. My energy was wrapped into setting up a smooth transition, so I needed to pause briefly. Right now, my energy is wrapped into answering “What brings me joy, makes a contribution, and feels right for my future direction?”

While I drop deeper into reflection mode, you'll still find doses of tranquility on the blog, via the weekly podcast, through IG stories and occasional posts, and a Tea with Kimberly video or two. I'll be back in your inbox shortly. Promise!

In the interim, please allow yourself to savor time in contemplation, ask yourself the deep questions, sip tea slowly, spend time in your journal, nap, and fill yourself with what brings joy.

Your soul will thank you. I adore you and am sending love. Always.

PS This fall you'll find the TDJ Live Masterclass, a five-week TDJ Lifestyle e-course, and a virtual retreat coming your way!

Love,

Kimberly
