Hi friends!

Many of us are back to work from a long holiday today. I spent the super hot days of this holiday at the pool with family and friends. This getaway was mainly about the kids and their hydration and sun protection and nose wiping. SO Many Kids, God bless them. Such a different experience to the one we had back in April when it was just us, the small family.

After that, I had a mini-reunion with school friends that felt so good. I managed to sleep in a lot and make progress in different books, and I was also on social media A LOT.

To be honest, I got exhausted of non-routine days.  I am so ready to go back to my clear-headed-focused-self that I woke up at 5 AM today for the first time in weeks. I couldn’t keep staying up late and waking up late as I previously said I would in July, being all about minimum rituals and gatherings with visitors from abroad.

I simply don’t want to go on like this for one more second. I feel refreshed already by this decision and excited about a new chapter ahead, especially that I managed to finally get my 2nd quarterly review done yesterday while the kids were playing at the park.

Are you as ready as I am to go back to your good old routines, or are you still in vacation-mode?

Simply hit reply and share in a sentence or two where you are at these days. I LOVE hearing from you.

Here is your weekly dose of The Sunday Spark a newsletter listing 5 inspiring things I thought were worth starting your week with:

  1. From my desk: You're nervous
  2. Requesting and receiving feedback at the work place is not easy. I found this video very helpful.
  3. I also created this video about receiving feedback based on the book
  4. I created the above video and a whole series based on the wonderful book: Insight: The Surprising Truth About How Others See Us, How We See Ourselves, and Why the Answers Matter More Than We Think
  5. When journaling, ask "What" not “Why” and this quote explains it:

"Why questions draw us to our limitations; what questions help us see our potential. Why questions stir up negative emotions; what questions keep us curious. Why questions trap us in our past; what questions help us create a better future."
