Dear First name / friend I am so excited to welcome you to All For Family's Foster Parent Training Extravaganza Email List. I’m thrilled that you’re interested in learning more about our event, I can’t wait to start sharing with you here. I am hopeful to include everything you need to know to register for our event in this email.

We are still recruiting volunteers for our event to help with set up and with entertaining and supervising the children while foster parents are in training. We will also hopefully be sending our itinerary later this week, though we are still hoping to find a trainers for Grooming, Human Trafficking, and Cyber Safety. We presently have CPR/First Aid, Emotional Regulation, Grief & Loss, Trauma, Foster Parent Organization, Ready Set Fly, Education Advocacy, Understanding Grief & Loss from a foster youth's perspective, water safety, & young child development covered. Our Training Extravaganza will be held from August 20th - August 22nd at Pinecrest Camp and Conference Center at 1252 Hwy C, Fredericktown, MO 63645. Early Check in on Thursday evening, August 19th is available for a small additional fee for adults.

Our original registration deadline was scheduled for July 15th, and sponsorship will first go to families who registered by that deadline and have paid their $20 deposit through our donation button on our allforfamily.net website (can also be mailed).  So that more families can participate, however, we are extending our registration deadline until August 5th.

The $20 deposit is non-refundable, with one exception. If there is an unfortunate Covid shutdown prior to our event, the $20 deposit will be refunded. We will exercise as much caution as possible during our event with regard to distancing, but we know that any social gathering comes with risks of exposure all participants should be aware of.  We also realize, however, that continued isolation also comes with great risks.  Therefore, unless there is another shutdown for St. Louis Metro Counties, including Jefferson County, or if the campground shutdown for their county, we are still planning to hold our event.  We hope you will join us as we feel it will be very beneficial.
