Although Milan is not a summer destination, it is quite pleasant in August. Many people have already left town for the sunny seaside or cool mountains, and it’s easy to find a table at a restaurant or a last-minute booking for museum tickets. The rest of us are fervently closing projects and ready to punch out for a long awaited, snooze-all-day holiday.
