Design Tips

Neutral tones balanced by cool pastels blend beautifully with bright white & cream tones. Incorporating texture by using rattan accents and fabrics like linen add interest and a layered effect. Neutral does not have to be boring! 

Don't be afraid to throw in a pillow with a fun pattern like this one!

I'm currently deciding on a wall treatment for our master bedroom ~ what do you think I should do? A plank wall or wallpaper?

The almond butter almonds are a great snack on the go - I tore them open on the car ride home thanks to the check out girl who encouraged me to do so! ha! 

I made the mini croissants this weekend and they were to die for! I love how easy they are to make - they go straight from the freezer to the oven and taste like they are from a French Bakery - yes they are that good! Great with tea or coffee, for hosting a brunch date with friends/family or for a little something special on weekend mornings.

This salad is one of my summer time favorites! Easy to make and great for BBQ's, picnics or when you have a friend over for lunch! I buy all the ingredients at TJ's! 

Sadly the Trader Joe's Orange Muscat Champagne Vinegar is discontinued but you can easily make your own version - just mix a little champagne vinegar, olive oil, orange juice, sugar & salt with pureed strawberries. Brianna's Home Style Dressing makes an awesome Champagne Vinaigrette if you don't want to make it homemade & you can always add strawberries to this store bought version via the blender! 

Fingers crossed Trader Joe's will bring it back someday!
