TRANSFORM YOUR HOME IN SIMPLE WAYS

Hi friend! So happy you're wanting to use safer products to clean and transform your home into a beautiful serene space for you and your family! We've been able to use Thieves Cleaner and a couple other things to clean our entire home for years now and I'm going to share exactly how, room by room. It's simple, affordable and all plant based. And yes, it absolutely cleans! In fact, better than any other cleaners we used to use. I'm going to share all my recipes, tips and a shopping list for you at the end!

Let's do this!

Why make the switch?

The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health studied 2,983 ingredients in our products at home and found 884 toxic ingredients. 314 caused biological mutations, 218 caused reproductive problems, 146 (they knew) caused cancerous tumors, but were allowed in the United States, even though they were banned in other countries around the world. Twenty-six seconds after exposure, chemicals are found in measurable amounts in the human body. The average woman applies 300 chemicals a day to her body (80 before breakfast!)

The top 10 most dangerous chemicals in your home are: air fresheners (like plug ins or candles), chemical cleaning supplies for your counters, floors, toilets, drain and oven cleaners, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, furniture polish, and dish soap are also culprits.

What happens to your body when it is chemically overloaded?

Most of us feel it as lethargy, inability to focus, sleep trouble, chronic inflammation, unexplained pain, fibromyalgia, skin issues, adult acne, hormone inbalance, hot flashes, stress, anxiety, and fear. If you face any of these issues, it’s time to kick chemicals to the curb.

One of the EASIEST switches you can make in your home is your cleaning products!

KITCHEN

All Purpose Thieves Cleaner-
Use this recipe for countertops, appliances, walls, etc.
16 oz Water

Soft Scrub-
This is perfect for the sink, stove, and really anything that you might have used soft scrub or a magic eraser on!

OR here is a DIY recipe:
1 cup baking soda
1-2 capfuls Thieves Cleaner Concentrate
Add tea tree oil for mold issues, lemon for extra degreasing, citrus oils for a fresh smell, or oregano for extra cleaning power
Mix well and store in an airtight container

Dishes-
It might surprise you that dish soap has toxins!  Sodium Laureth Sulfate is what makes a lot of dish soap foam up, it can also be a skin irritant and cause other issues. I highly recommend looking into what you are using to “clean” your dishes!
If you want. to dilute and make. it last longer, pour half the bottle of the dish soap in a jar or container and save for later. Add 2 tsp baking soda and 5 drops lemon oil. Top with water and shake. **Diluting Thieves dish soap is not required, but stretches the super concentrated product.

Stainless Steel (fridge, sink, dishwasher, stove, etc) -
Add to a spray bottle and shake well
½ cup of olive oil (any kind will work)
1 capful Thieves Cleaner
20 drops of Lemon essential oil

Hand Soap-
We love either the Thieves Hand Soap or the Lushious Lemon Hand Soap at our sinks! You can grab the 3 pack of pump bottles or grab the large refill bottle and use your own foaming pump bottles.

Fruit and Veggie Wash-
3 cups of Water
Let veggies and fruit sit in a bowl with mixture (or the sink for a big produce haul) for 2 minutes and then rinse. Enjoy!

1/4 Cup Castile Soap
1/4 Cup Vinegar
1/8 cup Hydrogen Peroxide
2 capfuls of Thieves Cleaner Concentrate

16 oz Distilled Waer
1 Tbs White Vinegar
3 drops Peppermint Oil
Mix in glass spray bottle. Use on Mirrors, windows and other glass.

Stink Away Spray-
Ditch the “Poop-pourrie” spray filled with synthetic fragrance and make this!
Add 15-20 drops of your favorite oils to a spray bottle and fill with water.
Fave combos:
Citrus Fresh + Peppermint
Purification + Orange
Lavender + Lemon
Vanilla + Orange

LAUNDRY ROOM

We have found that diluting the Laundry Soap helps us use the right amount of product. This is a super concentrated cleaner and a little goes a long way! Diluting is NOT required! But here's how we use it:
Pour half of the bottle of detergent in a large jar or container. Save for later. Add 3 capfuls of Thieves cleaner concentrate and 10 drops oil of your choice to each. Top jar with warm water to mix and gentle turn/shake to mix.
Boost the laundry soap with essential oils-
Purification for stinky clothes
Lemon is a fabric brightener
Lavender for scent
TIP: Add Molly’s suds directly to wash for whitening.

DIY Bleach-
3/4C Hydrogen Peroxide
1/4C Lemon Juice
15 drops Lemon Essential Oil
3/4C Baking Soda
1/4C Thieves Household Cleaner
7C Water
Mix all ingredients in container. For laundry, use 1C per load. Also use in tubs and sinks as you would regular bleach!

Stain Stick-
In a roller bottle, add half Thieves Cleaner concentrate and half Thieves Laundry Soap. Turn gently to mix and roll on stains as needed before washing. You can also make this in a spray bottle and add water.

Wool Dryer Balls-
Toss those dryer sheets and grab wool dryer balls from Trader Joe's or Amazon! Dryer sheets are one of the most toxic things found in most homes.
Some of our fave oils to use on our dryer balls:

Pure & Simple - 2 drops Purification + 1 drop Tea Tree
Citrus Refresher - 2 drops Lemon + 1 drop Grapefruit
Dreamy Drops - 2 drops Bergamot + 1 drop Lavender
Mediterranean Seaside - 2 drops Orange+ 1 drop Rosemary
We also love the Seedlings Baby Wipes as dryer sheet replacements!
