Hello & Welcome to my September 2021 Newsletter! Fall is upon us (even though the weather seems to have missed the memo) & brings with it some of our most beloved annual events here in New Mexico. This year may look a bit different than past years, but both the New Mexico State Fair & Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta are a go! The State Fair runs from September 9-19th & Balloon Fiesta will be October 2-10th.We are fortunate that Albuquerque is the host city for both events, so we get a front row seat for all of the festivities & fun. The New Mexico State Fair runs from September 9-19, 2021. You can visit their website to find a complete list of daily events & times. In addition to the typical fanfare including delicious food, music & entertainment & of course, fair rides….you will find unique & fun events the whole family is sure to enjoy. You can participate in experiences ranging from “The Great American Duck Race” to “The Butterfly Encounter” alongside many competitions, shows & agricultural programming. The schedule of events begins each morning at 9am & runs all day, most days ending at 9pm (some 8:15pm) with a varying array of ways & locations to enjoy at Expo New Mexico. What's your favorite fair-fare? Fried foods, entertainment, rides?

This year's Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta runs from October 2-10, 2021. In addition to the wonder of the balloons in flight, there will be lots of other events happening at Balloon Fiesta Park. Live music & entertainment, food, artisans & more will enhance the Fiesta this year.  There is also Balloon Fiesta™ Live! which is a live stream of all 14 events of the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. The 2021 Live Streams will be at 6am each day for the morning events & 6pm for the evening events. If you can't make it out for the in-person festivities, this is the perfect way to experience the magic from the comfort of your home! Balloon Fiesta is a beloved tradition & major contributor to the local economy. It was sorely missed last year & there will be precautions in place to keep Fiesta-goers happy & healthy for the 2021 Fiesta. Here's a helpful rundown of the schedule of events.
