Halloween Decor + Design Tips
Creating a Halloween look doesn't have to be complicated. Do you notice a few common items I use from year to year in the pictures above? I love investing in seasonal decor that I look forward to using every year like our paper bats. They instantly transform your home for Halloween. I like to use blue painters tape to adhere them to the wall - it works great and won't damage your wall. Just gently remove the tape each season, store them in a zip lock bag and you'll have them ready to go for next year. I also love using a few cute pumpkins, faux little crows and fun candles. There are so many amazing items during the fall season at Trader Joe's. I go a little crazy over the pumpkin items - I just can't help myself! They are all soooo good! Ha! My latest obsession are these pumpkin spiced pretzels - they would be great for a Halloween pot luck and are a fun after dinner treat. I recently made the Kale & Cauliflower Chili with Navy Beans and it was delicious - a little bit of spice to it and was amazing mixed with ground beef. Such an easy and yummy weeknight meal for those cool fall nights!

Rug styling tip: Make sure your rug is large enough for your space. For a bedroom with a king size bed (like ours) you want a rug that is large enough to place under the bed and the sides of the bed. Typically you can go with an 8x10 but ideally a 9x12 works best.
