Welcome to the Full Moon in Pisces!

Hello dear First name / one,

It has been exactly one lunar year since I started the Moonsletters!

If you’ve been with me for this whole journey, I am in deep gratitude to you. If this is your first, how fortuitous. As a gift to you, I will be bringing back the Meditation Necklaces that helped to launch Honored Body into the business it is today. This is a special offer for Moonsletter subscribers, but if you want to purchase one for a friend, I’m okay with that too. 🤗

During this Full Moon in Pisces, we are feeling extra imaginative and sensitive. Our spirituality is illuminated and we can reflect on how far we have come spiritually since March of this year.

“More often than not our spiritual expansion comes through a surrender and acceptance, through stepping into love.”

Were you able to integrate loving practices over the last six months? To release old hurts, old feelings and activate your imagination to create space for new possibilities? Perhaps some of those possibilities have come to fruition?

Pisces energy is reflective, intuitive and introverted. During this moon, you may feel like you want to retreat, despite it being a Harvest Moon that we usually celebrate with sharing and togetherness. Offer yourself this respite for a couple days and see what comes to the surface.

There is a favorable trine between Mercury and Jupiter bringing good news on Monday. So, this next week is an opportune time to make plans, seal business deals, book travel, and invest in your education before Mercury stations retrograde on September 27.

While the new moon at the beginning of the month may have already brought some rapid changes and excitement into your life, use this full moon as a chance to examine what has come to fruition thus far and what still needs attention. Trust your intuition to help you prioritize and organize so that you can continue to be flexible and adaptable as Mercury stations retrograde next week. We are still in Virgo season which is a season of preparation. Get your plan together and pack your bags, you don’t have to take action just yet.

This wednesday is the Autumn Equinox, and this week marks the celebration of many Harvest festivals, including Mabon in neo-Paganism. Whether you subscribe to one tradition or another, taking the time during this liminal period to recognize what you have harvested from your labors over the spring and summer will ground you into your present abundance. Because it is there, I promise you.

Last year around this time, I had a refrigerator full of tomatoes and greens and peas and beans from my garden. This year, I was almost neglectful of my little patch. I got a late start on planting, never got around to refreshing the soil with more fertilizer, and other things just got prioritized this summer. But today I still have a stash of kale, and I have been pulling a squash or two for several weeks now. I am so grateful to my garden for her bounty. And I vow to prep her well in a few weeks for the winter ahead, so that next spring we can come back at it full force.

My little vegetable haul isn’t the only thing I can say I’ve harvested from this summer. As a way to connect with my inner child, I played in a sincere and child-like way. I ran on a beach with abandon in the sunset and chased waves and giggled. I tiptoed through the woods so as not to disturb the fae (spoiler alert: they totally knew I was there). I learned to nap, kinda.
