LSU Assistant Professor Reads to Kindergarten Class During Hispanic Heritage Month

Alex Torres, assistant professor of Latinx Affairs at LSU, read the book “Mango, Abuela and Me” to a kindergarten class at Forest Heights Academy. The book highlighted Spanish vocabulary words that the students learned and taught the students more about Hispanic culture.

The EBRPSS Holds Coloring Contest in Honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month

In order to honor and celebrate the achievements of many Hispanic American people and leaders, the EBRPSS is hosting a coloring contest. Students can download the coloring sheets, or pick them up at the front desk of their schools, and express their artistic skills through the coloring sheets.
