Hi friends!

My monthly and quarterly reviews are still in the works, however it seems I won’t get a chance to make real progress on them before the upcoming weekend. I will make sure to fill my habit tracker ASAP with my evening habits which are still a challenge for me that I feel too tempted to put off to the next day (lunchbox preps, story time with kids, picking my outfit for work, skincare routine and evening gratitude journal).

My friend sent me an insightful comment the other day saying she did not feel great about last month because, as a freelancer, she did not take on many jobs as usual, only to find, in her review, that she indeed made great strides in other life domains like her health and career development. Can you believe she actually completed a major exam and earned a certificate for it?

Sometimes it takes a proper review to beat that tendency we have, especially women, to be hard on ourselves by remembering the shortcomings first and foremost. We also need to redefine shortcomings, sometimes they are simply high expectations that we created for ourselves. Such reviews remind us of the progress we made, big or small, and that it is worth celebrating. It’s the same for me. I almost always start my weekly review not feeling so great about the past week. However, I feel instantly better right after. It’s my cherished reset point.

How about you? Have you got a chance to do a weekly or monthly review? I hope you would give it a try.

Exciting News: If you see a glimpse of the screenshot folder in my phone gallery, you would see tons from the video trainings I took over the last couple of weeks from Amy Porterfield about creating a digital course. Because yup, you guessed it, I'm preparing something exciting and valuable for you that I will share more details about soon. You, my dear friends, will be the FIRST to know, I promise.

Cheer me on with a reply if you have a moment, will you?

Here is your weekly dose of The Sunday Spark 💡 a newsletter listing 5 inspiring things I thought were worth starting your week with:
  1. I respect Chase Jarvis's work and his podcast Chase Jarvis Live is amazingly rich and so well produced. Listen to his podcast and make sure to follow him on twitter for inspiration.
  2. Debbie Millman is the host of one of the world's longest-running podcasts, and she once interviewed Seth Godin about his children book for grown ups: V is for Vulnerable that I have in my library. I love this interview and Maria's summary of it.
  3. From my desk: The 101 to personal budgeting according to the Live session I hosted last week on Instagram.
  4. Check this 5-Point Nighttime Worksheet for setting intentions.
  5. A quote that I used in naming my earliest goal-oriented WhatsApp groups:
"I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul."
― Poem: Invictus by William Ernest Henley

See you next Sunday, First name / my dear friend
