October 2021 | Issue No. 17

Hello & welcome to my October 2021 Newsletter. I'm glad you're here! This month, I wanted to share a bit about my favorite season & one of the many perfect activities that comes along with it. Fall is the most beautiful time of year in New Mexico! The leaves normally begin changing in mid to late September, with peak by late October into November. Higher elevations will experience more color early to mid October & lower elevations, mid to late October. The nights have that crisp, refreshing coolness we've been longing for all summer. If you're up for a road trip, Taos & Santa Fe have stunning autumnal displays. In Albuquerque, a walk along the Bosque or a trip to the peak of the Sandias will have you craving hot chocolate by a crackling fire.

Fall Foliage

Fourth of July Canyon

One of the most breathtaking spots to experience New Mexico's fall colors is Fourth of July Canyon.

If you're craving those deep red & orange hues, its an easy day or camping trip to the Manzano Mountains, south east of Albuquerque.

Bosque

If you'd prefer to stay in town, a walk along the Bosque will grace you with the golden goodness of Fall.

Whether you're hitting the road in search of fall foliage or staying close to home, New Mexico is the best place to experience fall splendor.
