Hi friends!

What were the highlights of your week? If nothing was your first answer, think again.

I am sure you made some kind of progress, received an insight or kindness from others, or were kind to others who needed it. Maybe you were more patient than usual or smiled to strangers or shared something powerful with your friends. Maybe you saved money or called someone or visited someone sick. Perhaps you spent good time with your family, or homework time was easy for a change, or your kids(s) slept at 7pm or pulled an all-nighter for the first time (yeey!) ? I hope you did well in your exams or studied hard for them. I guess you might have had an exceptional meal or two? Or someone cooked for you? It's possible you got sick, and you can't really remember anything about last week, but you really appreciate your health more, and will make sure your body would get the rest and nourishment it needs from now on.

There is a lot to be grateful for, the key is to notice those things right when they happen, which will double their positive impact. You feel good when you become aware of them AND when you reflect on them.

I had five highlights in the past week that I would love to share with you:

  • I gave a 2-hour training session on top 3 tools to move from distraction to discipline in time management, based on an invitation from Muna Shakour within her business coaching program (from Mum To Mumpreneur in 90 days). Looking forward to more collaborations in the future with her!
  • I met with my accountability partner to get some clarity on the steps for our next separate projects, using the Ship It Journal by Seth Godin which helped me more than once before when I felt stuck. The questions are brilliant and work well for personal and business projects. Download and print the PDF here for your project (and every new project) and listen to Seth as he walks you through it.
  • I finally made very good progress on my upcoming podcast episode about women’s productivity based on the four seasons we go through every month. You will receive it in your inbox before the end of the week. Stay tuned.
  • Disconnected from my social media for 48 hours to have the kind of weekend I needed. Focused on my own work.
  • I just received Airpods Pro as a gift from hubby, so he obviously got the hint from borrowing his for my recent Instagram Lives.
Pretty cool for one week, right?

Here is your weekly dose of The Sunday Spark ⚡️ a newsletter listing 5 inspiring things I thought were worth starting your week with:
  1. Try to understand your feelings by talking to yourself in your head or through journaling using distanced self-talk (eg, ‘Why is First name / (Your Name) feeling this way?’) instead of immersed self-talk (eg, ‘Why am I feeling this way?’) to feel less negatively about personal, negative experiences. This article proves it.
  2. It is amazing how your body posture can help you feel more confident almost instantly. Check Amy Cuddy's Ted talk: Your Body Language May Shape Who You Are to learn how exactly.  I also read her book Presence and highly recommend it.
  3. My current favorite podcast is Creative Elements. I really enjoyed this episode about writing on twitter with Dickie Bush.
  4. Have you ever been diagnosed with busyness? Here are the four symptoms that Muna Shakour shared.
  5. A quote to remind you that "busy" does not mean productive:
"When everything feels urgent and important, everything seems equal. We become active and busy, but this doesn’t actually move us any closer to success. Activity is often unrelated to productivity, and busyness rarely takes care of business"
― The ONE Thing by Gary Keller, Jay Papasan
(resurfaced through Readwise, download this awesome app to remember books you read)
What was your favorite Spark? I am eager to know. Reply to this email or share with me on my social media.

See you next Sunday, First name / my dear friend
