Bonjour Friend! As many of you know, I’ve been busy since we closed our beloved Le Mistral. My brother and I are getting ready for the grand opening of our new restaurant in River Oaks. I can’t wait to share more details with you! In the meantime, Sylvain and I partnered with our friends, Luc Baudoin, and the owners of Café Rabelais, Chris and Laurence Paul, to take over ownership of another Houston staple, Bistro 555 in Memorial. I’ve also been consulting for several restaurants in town, catering private events with my brother, and working with some of my favorite brands to share my love of cooking with as many people as possible. In fact, I have an exciting event coming up at the end of this month! I've been invited to participate in the upcoming Williams Sonoma Wellness Retreat, a live virtual event featuring a full slate of wonderful chefs & wellness personalities (Bobby Flay, Glennon Doyle, Robin Arzon, Kelly LeVeque, Kevin Curry, Liz Marie Galvan, and more!) I will be teaching you how to prepare two delicious dishes, featuring equipment from DeBuyer. This two-day event is a great way to reinvigorate your love of cooking.
