The 2021 NSPN Symposium is happening virtually Nov 19-20! It is an annual event that brings together early career scientists and engineers with a passion for science policy, advocacy, diplomacy, and justice. This year the Symposium will center around our changing planet, the ongoing climate crisis, and the many issues that stem from that including food and housing insecurity (and inequity), public health and disease, shared resources and more.

News:
Congratulations to SPG co-founder and former president Zoe Guttman for earning a spot as a CCST S&T Policy Fellow! This program is the most prestigious science policy internship in the state of California.
Every year, California decision makers must make critical decisions on a number of complex and dynamic issues facing our state, such as the state’s water supply, energy grid, and public health. To help address this, the CCST Science & Technology Policy Fellows program annually recruits and trains a cohort of fifteen PhD scientists and engineers to spend one year working in Sacramento, directly serving decision makers within the California State Legislature and Executive Branch.
