I am still buzzing with energy after speaking to over 50,000 live attendees at the Adobe Max conference last week! I'm incredibly honored to have had the opportunity to share the stage with so many incredible creatives!

In honor of the Adobe Max conference, this week's #CreateWithCatCoq challenge is all about one of my favorite Adobe tools - Photoshop!

 

By far the question I'm asked the most when it comes to Photoshop is how to remove the background from an image or piece of art. So this week, I'm challenging you to learn and practice this essential skill.

 

Removing backgrounds in Photoshop gives you so much flexibility with your photos and artwork. It feels like an intimidating thing to learn, but I promise it's easier than you might think. Want to learn how to do it? In this blog post I walk you through the process step-by-step.

I am absolutely thrilled to announce that I am teaching a live Chroma Course starting on January 3rd with Skillshare. This is a four-week program for artists of all levels who want to learn how to paint modern style watercolors and turn those paintings into a side income through art licensing. 

This is unlike any course I've taught before. The experience will include live group Zoom calls, class lessons, assignments, and live discussions with plenty of direct feedback from me. Plus, you'll be working alongside other creatives and building an amazing community along the way.
