Happy Thursday!

Every week, there is always so much going on! Last week, my publisher put two of my books on sale. Death Gone a-Rye became a #1 Amazon Bestseller! Thank you to everyone who grabbed a copy of this book. Dough or Die is still currently 99¢!

On top of these awesome sales, my online book club group, The Book Warriors, got to celebrate the release of author Amy Pershing's, An Eggnog to Die For, with a Holiday Cocktail Hour. So. Fun! You can see the replay HERE. She took us through the making of a coconut eggnog. Now, I am NOT a coconut or rum fan so I did not have high hopes that I'd like it. Boy was I surprised! It was so tasty! Check out the recipe HERE!

I have two other  bits of exciting news this week. One, is the new cover for Murder in Devil's Cove. I LOVE this book so much, but I never felt the cover quite had enough umph. It needed more. More beach cove. More character. More Sailor. Always more Sailor!

My cover artist and I got together and conceived a new idea. I adore the result! It's on the bench above. I hope you love it!

The other bit of exciting news is the upcoming release of A Murder Yule Regret. This is book #7 in the Bread Shop Mystery series. It's a Dickens holiday murder mystery. I love the cover, the title, and the story. You can pre-order it so it's in your hands on November 30th!

Happy reading!

PHOTO OF THE WEEK
We are so fortunate to live on a little lake. No motor boats or jet skis or anything like that. Just kayaks and fishing and summer swimming (and a polar bear plunge!). I adore the morning hours when the lake is still and glass-like, reflecting the trees and houses like a mirror.

Freelance photographer and Yeast of Eden bakery assistant Ivy Culpepper has just scored the job of a lifetime shooting the Dickensian dress-up X-mas party thrown by It Girl film actress Eliza Fox . . . until an unwanted guest appears.

A holiday costume party in the sleepy coastal town of Santa Sofia could be just the boost Ivy needs for her fledgling photography business. At the party, Ivy enters a Victorian fantasy come to life, all courtesy of the fabulous Ms. Fox. Ivy gets to play shutterbug while hanging with Scrooge, Marley, the Cratchits, and more classic Dickens characters.  But what begins as the best of times turns out to be the very worst for one of the party guests—a tabloid journalist with more enemies than Ebenezer himself.

When the man’s body is found sprawled across the jagged rocks below the house, the fingers begin pointing at Eliza. Meanwhile, Ivy gets roped into helping prove the starlet’s innocence. Her festive photos are now official evidence—and the Ghosts of Christmas Present could mean the party for Eliza is over, once and for all.

Two Fun New Releases! If you're looking for a new book to give you all the cozy feels of fall, check out these two! Getaway with Murder and An Eggnog to Die For are both excellent additions to your autumn reading list.
