Lessons learned from two years of consulting.
In just a few short weeks, I'm celebrating two years of leading WordSpark! What a rewarding journey and one filled with plenty of learning moments that continue to guide me in my purpose. Here's five reflections that rise to the top of this “lessons list”…

  1. Taking time to recharge outside of work hours is essential. This allows me to bring 100 percent when I am on the clock.
  2. Authentic leadership comes from bringing your full self to the spaces you show up and acknowledging where there is room to grow.
  3. Building a sustainable business means understanding how the small decisions you make now, can set you up for future success. Part of the fun is trying new things and embracing wherever things land.
  4. Sharing your voice is a valuable asset, because no one can think the way you do. Remember, your words do not have to be perfect to have a measurable impact.
  5. Mentorship matters when navigating a different career path. The words of encouragement I've received continue to provide inspiration.
Whether you've referred a potential client, liked a post on social media, or found time in your schedule for virtual coffee, I'm grateful. Thank you for supporting me on this ongoing entrepreneurship journey.
