First name / friend, has the hustle & bustle of the season started for you yet?
Today, we begin our final fundraising campaign of the year that will support the
St. Mary’s Home for Children Holiday Giving program, a non-profit agency offering comprehensive treatment programs for boys and girls traumatized by abuse or experiencing the challenges of psychiatric disorders.

We are fast approaching the holiday season when we can count our many blessings that come in the form of family, food, and fun.
But for the children we serve, those blessings can be harder to find.
For a child who has suffered sexual abuse, a child who has emotional issues and cannot focus on school, or a child that needs a temporary place to live – the holidays can be a time of sadness and loneliness as they face the difficulties life has given them.”
~St. Mary's Home for Children
Jenn and I have both supported this organization personally, and this particular campaign holds special meaning for us in two ways:
  • First, we have wanted to work with this organization since we launched Plates with Purpose last December. Their mission allows them to serve nearly 500 children and their families, many of whom face food insecurity.
  • Second, December marks the first-year anniversary of our program, and it is important that we celebrate this milestone in a meaningful way.
WE CAN'T THINK OF A BETTER WAY TO RAISE THE SPIRITS OF LOCAL CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES!
We are honored to focus our final push of the year to support this incredible organization and its residents. While extra funds for groceries is always needed, we also heard it’s a treat for residents and family members to be able to dine out, especially after the past 18 months.

We ask that you join us to raise $5,000 by December 12. Every dollar received will be used to deliver gift cards to local restaurants and grocery stores to 500 children. We can't think of a better time to rally around Rhode Island’s most vulnerable youth than the holidays.

There's no better time to rally around our most vulnerable youth than right now.
