FIRST THINGS FIRST…
Anthony will be joining us this Wednesday at 8:00! He was a little sick last week, so we decided to adjust our dates!
Second, thank you for being patient with me getting up the reading and the newsletter this week. THE READING IS JOHN 5. We had our Thanksgiving weekend early and flew to Denver to be with family, and for the first time in a long time I put down my phone and my computer and didn't write one word, and I just soaked in all the time with the babies and my kids and it was heaven… except for the part when my kids all tried “dropping in” on a skate ramp and one child broke both bones in his ankle and is having surgery tomorrow.
Last, I hope you are loving this semester. The lessons, the women who are joining us, the learning. My heart has been so filled and we are only five weeks in. This weekend we celebrated the birthday of my son-in-law. My daughter ordered the most beautiful cupcakes. With sprinkles. And I thought of all of you …and this community…and how we take the goodness in sprinkles.
I'm so grateful for this little space of goodness.
This newsletter has…

IF YOU ARE NEW AROUND HERE…WELCOME!
Here is what this semester's study will look like:
SUNDAYS: Weekly readings sent out @inklings.institute and on the app MONDAYS: Intro to the special guest who will be joining us for Thursday's class. This will be a different woman every single week. These women were chosen because of their story and what it would add to our learning each week. Some of them are stay at home moms, some are single, some just graduated college, some of professionals, some are influencers, some have just returned from serving missions. I tried to gather a good group of women from all different backgrounds. I hope you love meeting and learning from each of them!
WEDNESDAYS: Learning to love well. Videos and quotes to help support our worldwide service initiative.
THURSDAYS: Institute class 9:00am MT on Instagram Live
SECOND WEDNESDAY EVERY MONTH: Anthony Sweat Temple and Covenants Fireside at 8:00PM MST
We study the words of modern and ancient prophets. Every Thursday at our live institute class we study one General Conference talk and dive deep into the scriptures. You can find the schedule in our workbook. To spice things up a little bit, this semester we will be having a new guest join us every week to talk about the conference talk. I will be teaching from the scriptures every week.
YOU CAN PARTICIPATE WITH US IN ONE OF THREE WAYS:

If you are new to this community, there is one thing you should know. We are all about keeping things manageable and creating a system of stud that will not overwhelm you, but lift you. Our goal here at Inklings is to offer a hint of something more. Just a few small hints each week that will add up over time. You decide how to enter in and how much time you have to invest in this study. If you miss a week, no worries! Just jump back in wherever we are. Our goal is to lift your heart and motivate your spirit to better living one day at a time.
One last invitation. Over the past six months I have met many women who have started Inklings Small Groups. An Inklings small group is a group of women that meet together to study weekly or monthly. Some are Relief Society groups. Some are neighborhood friends. Some are mothers and daughters. I have had the opportunity to meet several of these small groups. The thought of women gathering together to become stronger in Christ makes my heart so happy.
