At Friends New York, we believe in a holistic approach that engages children's mind, body, and heart. As much as we care and support academic success, we believe it's essential that children get to have different experiences that nurture their curiosity and diverse interests. |

help us thank our families! |

This month, Friends of the Children New York is partnering with James Beard Award winning Chef JJ Johnson, the founder of FIELDTRIP, a Harlem-originated restaurant, to celebrate our amazing families this holiday season. We are inspired by our families' hard work and resilience, and want to take a moment to celebrate and thank them.
The FIELDTRIP team will be creating meals for all of our families. We hope you will join us by making a gift to support this initiative or volunteering to help us deliver meals on Friday, December 17th, or Saturday, December 18th. |

On November 6, Friends New York had a great event that promoted health in our community. The event had a turnout of more than 80 Achievers, Friends, and community members who showed up and showed out either physically or virtually. The positive energy of the event harnessed $70,000 in donations. Thank you so much to our Leadership Council for their help in raising support for the event. These donations will help us continue to support the families we serve and increase the number of the resources and opportunities we are able to share with them. |
