In the previous newsletter I asked you about which 3d custom item (Skull or Hourglass) do you prefer as a free gift for those who back on the first day. Many of you voted, thank you for the help with deciding this! Here is the result: |

I was thinking what to do with this, and finally I thought you can get both of them for free in the following “format”: the Skull will be a free gift if you back on the 1st day AND the Hourglass will be a stretch goal instead of an add-on. So from now on, it is really up to you and the community, whether you will get them ;) |

There are some copies in the world and reviewers are currently working on their videos. This overall process is much more difficult and complex than I thought but also very interesting and I am always very excited about what they say. Some days ago Man vs Meeple team just sent me their preview video. I think they did a really great job. This video is not yet published, it is going to be public only next year - but I really want to give you back something and “reward” your support and for the subscription here, so you can check it before anybody else. Kickstarter campaign launch Let's start with the most interesting part. A lot of people are asking when the launch is. And my answer is always the same: when I am ready (later in this section I give a rough estimate for it ;)) I really want to create a remarkable campaign and also calculate everything well. I don't like surprises and uncertain things. This is very important because I will be fully responsible for the backers' money and the delivery in time. Overall, there are 3 main remaining things until the launch: - KS campaign page creation - it is in progress, in ~1-2 month it will be ready
- Calculation of the pledge levels, stretch goals + the shipping (freight and fulfillment) - It is in progress, I am in contact with several manufacturers and shipping partners. This is the most difficult part, mainly the international shipping. Probably you know, how crazy it is nowadays. Prices are in the sky and there is a huge uncertainty. Hopefully, when I will ship (probably in 2023) things will be better again. But now I want to see every risks there.
- Have a large following: it is very crucial to fund the project in the first 1-2 days and that can be reached only if a lot of people know the game and waiting for it. One easy indicator for this is the number of the subscribers on the KS pre-launch page. I need minimum 3000 there, but optimally 5000 people.
The track is quite good, some days ago we reached the 1000+ milestone! Thank you! Please, if you can share the game in relevant groups, that would be a huge help! |

Overall, considering the remaining tasks, I really don't want to promise any exact date, but now ~April 2022 seems to be a realistic date for the launch. Stay tuned, more info / videos are coming until that! ;) |

Story: One day Meeple on Board - Vanguard contacted me because they saw the game and they were interested in it. At that point, I didn't know who they were and what a licensing agent meant. Now I know, and since I do almost everything alone, their help in finding other publishers / language partners are incredible important. Besides this, they already participated in many very successful campaigns, so their general help and feedbacks are very valuable too. |
