I used to think entrepreneurs got to where they are by taking one of two paths:
1) they got laid off and were forced to improvise or

2) they knew they wanted to start a business and did it.
Neither was the case for me. Here’s what happened instead.
As someone who LOVES to plan and do check-ins, I decided to set some goals for my life and business in Q2 of 2019. This helped me take a step back and realize I wasn’t on the path I wanted to be on
When I quit my full-time job, I had a business that was my side hustle for 10 years. My intuition told me it was time to leave long before I did, but…
I told myself I had to meet an oddly specific income goal to quit. When I fell short – because I had a literal full-time job on top of my side hustle – I also realized I didn’t know any entrepreneurs (and it’s hard to BE it if you can’t SEE it).
Maybe you’ve been there?
If so, then you know something had to shift. That’s when I put in my notice.
I did it without 6 months of expenses in my savings 💸
I did it without feeling 100% capable ✨
I did it without knowing what would happen after ⚡
The reason it felt SO right? I followed my joy 🌈
