Hi First name / friends!

As an artist, one of my favorite gifts to give is (you guessed it!) hand-drawn artwork. But one thing that I've learned over the years is that if you have a long list of gifts to give, it can be pretty time-consuming to create a new piece for every single person.

Enter, digital art. By digitizing your artwork you're able to take one hand-drawn piece and duplicate it multiple times without losing that hand-drawn look. It's such a great way to give meaningful gifts while also saving you hours of time.

Plus, when you digitize your art it gives you the opportunity to turn it into a design for all kinds of different products!

This week's #CreateWithCatCoq challenge is to digitize a piece of hand-drawn artwork. Whether you're giving art as a gift or not, this is a fantastic skill to learn as an artist. It gives you so much flexibility and is a fantastic way to expand your portfolio.

Not sure how to digitize your artwork?

If you're wondering how to digitize artwork, I've got you covered! My newest class, Digitize Your Art to Sell Online, is a comprehensive walkthrough of every step you need to take to digitize your hand-drawn pieces.

In this class we'll focus on the key steps I take to digitally transform artwork into top-selling pieces:
  • Digitize your artwork through scanning or photographing
  • Fuse multiple scans together in Adobe Photoshop
  • Remove the paper background
  • Clean up mistakes (Hello, pencil marks & paint smears!)
  • Create captivating color options
  • Infuse metallic textures
  • Arrange seamless patterns
  • Save with the intention of uploading to POD sites
This class is your one-stop shop for learning how to digitize your artwork! I hope to see you inside!
