This past December, the Auraria Sustainable Campus Program ushered in our ten-year anniversary! What started as a lion hearted, student led organization has now turned into a thriving office of eleven (and it’s growing)! But the impact of the ASCP is not limited to these four walls. In fact, the accomplishments of the ASCP are due to a wide network of students, faculty, staff, and community members who have dedicated their time and energy to various projects and programs over the years. It truly takes a village to combat the effects of ecological destruction and climate change. We are fortunate that our village has, and will continue to be, filled with passionate people driven to reduce the Auraria Campus's ecological impact and dependence on fossil fuels. Today, we thank all our partners that we now humbly call friends and family. Your presence has created ripples of tangible and intangible impact through our build environment and within our hearts.

We believe that we can make global impact through local action. Featured here are a few of the many faces that have been integral to our work over the years. We would like to give special thanks to all those from the past and the present for taking time out of their busy schedules to participate and reminisce with us. For all those that are not present in the film, we thank you for all the work you have done with us and we hope to see you again soon. In the meantime, keep up your work as agents of change in your new community. We are proud to have you in the ASCP family. Cheers, to ten and here’s to many more!

The Winter/Spring 2022 edition of the Environmental Justice Book Club will be on Tuesdays 6:30-7:45pm, starting February 15th (and running every other week until April 12). This semester the group will be reading Dianne Glave's Rooted in the Earth: Reclaiming the African American Environmental Heritage. We believe that Glave's book will be an excellent way to engage Black History Month while also digging deeper into legacies of environmental racism/injustice and environmental and social justice. Anyone who is interested, please complete this quick form: https://forms.gle/X7pskAaasWZyMo6x9
