December 2021 Week 5

Hey First name / friend

I hope you enjoyed my cool productivity tricks from last week! Someday soon, I'll share the courses and hacks that have helped me get my life in gear. But this week, I wanted to share my 2021 writing and publishing recap!

This has been my most productive writing year yet. That's due in large part to me getting my mental, emotional, and physical health under control: for example, exercising regularly, cleaning up my diet, and controlling my lupus symptoms to the point that the disease has been “dormant” for the year. I've also begun the long screening process for an official autism/ADHD diagnosis. I've gotten my depression and anxiety under control to the point that they no longer affect my productivity.

So, overall, 2021 has been an amazing year for me!

Turns out I thrive when I don't have to leave the house 😂 Who would've thought? (Me. I would've thought. I've been a hermit for a long time.)

Anyway, here are my stats for the year!

Works published: 3 (1 novel, 1 novella, 1 short story)
Girl in the Dark
Hood: The Lieutenant
Survivors of the Rising Sea

Words written: 120k+ (that's a lot of words, folks)

Highest income: September 2021 (Girl in the Dark release month)

Books read: 102
If you want to see which books I read and what I rated them, follow me on Goodreads!

Thank you for making this the best year of my writing career! I couldn't keep writing stories for you without your amazing support.

My publishing plan for 2022 includes 2 more novels, followed by 4 more in 2023. All the novels will be in the Post-Apocalyptic Princesses series…which makes me laugh and smile and feel all the feelings when I write it. I hope my joy and excitement in writing this series comes out on the page when you read it. 🖤

Have an amazing 2022, everyone! Seize the moment!

All of M.C. Frank's books are officially on my 2022 TBR. She's a talented indie author with amazing covers and over 13k followers on Instagram! She's also very sweet and deserves every bit of her success.

Scifi, dystopian and frozen. Welcome to the chilling future of humanity.

A soldier is summoned to the North Pole, days before the year changes, told to fix the great Clock for a celebration. He has no idea what to do.
A girl, hunted for the crime of being born, almost dies out on the ice. She is rescued by the last polar bear left alive.
A library waits for them both, a library built over a span of a hundred years, forgotten in the basement of an ice shack.
The world hasn't known hunger or sickness in hundreds of years. It has also forgotten love and beauty.

The year is 2525.

Inspired by the short stories of Ray Bradbury, this futuristic novel is set in a world where Christmas -among other things- is obsolete and a Clock is what keeps the fragile balance of peace.
Written in three installments, this is the breathtaking and sensual story of how two unlikely people change the world, and each other, one book at a time.
Immerse yourself into the icy cold world of this scorching hot new novel.
