Welcome to 2022 huh, what a stinker already! I spent the first week of the new year in isolation after getting a call about being a close contact - I have a feeling a lot of us are in this boat at the moment. If that's you right now, my first issue of the year has some good news sources, my favourite podcasts and a glimpse into my Marketing Monday set up.
 
Shoot me an email if you're bored or lonely, sick, or need something. I may not have the elusive RAT tests we're all looking for at the moment, but I can provide humour, business tips, or food drop offs if you're close by.

Marketing Mondays

I can't remember where I read about this neat idea, but I've taken up blocking out my calendar for ‘Marketing Mondays’. I just put a recurring entry in my Google calendar starting on the 10th Jan (I started the year badly however, with my first shoot of the year on a Monday).
This is ok however - the rule is that you can move Marketing Monday to any other day in the week, but you CANNOT delete it entirely or move it to another week.
 
I also keep myself in line by having a list of 5 key broad subjects that Marketing Monday needs to focus on (and absolutely no client work of any kind, it must be broader and more strategic).
