A little about whats been going on!
The first week of January I was asked to paint live at the Darafeev Showroom at the Dallas Market Center where my available original paintings are currently hung. It is so fun to be surrounded by interior designers and other creatives and to be able to share my work. Fun Fact: I offer 20% off to interior designers looking for work for their clients!
The second week was spent preparing for the Raptor Paint and Sip Night at the White Rock Alehouse which happened on January 20th. We had a great turnout where we all painted a painting of a Harris Hawk while we hung out with 5 different raptors! All proceeds went to help the Backland Prairie Raptor Center, an amazing organization that helps rehabilitate injured birds of prey in our area. Even with all of these fun things going on I managed to get two big pieces completed: “Night Hunt” and “The Great Horned Wait”! “Night Hunt” sold and is now in a perfect spot: a large wooden mantle in Alaska. Prints of both are available soon, so keep an eye out!
