What the h*%# kind of copywriting email list is this, anyway?
Dogs—to the yard.

Step right up, First name / friend
Step right up.

Are you seeking enlightenment?
Hungering for self-discovery?
Yearning to reveal your TRUE SELF?

Oh, friend—do I have a deal for YOU.

For the low, low price of [whatever your startup costs may be],

YOU, TOO, CAN START A BUSINESS.

But wait…there's more.

Do you want to dig even DEEPER?

Do you want parts of yourself that haven't seen the light of day in DECADES to stumble, bleary-eyed, into the midday equatorial sun?

If so…

There's only one thing you need to do.

One simple thing:

START THAT BUSINESS WHEN YOUR FAMILY IS DEPENDING ON THAT INCOME.

Do this one simple thing, friend, and all your stuff will come out!

Shadow selves, exiles, inner children—

Starting a business by yourself brings all the dogs to the yard.
Look! Here they come!

So, I'm doing great. I'm emerging and allowing the %&$# out of 2022.

Current life rafts:

> Denise Duffield-Thomas, money mentor for the new wave of online entrepreneurs who want to make money and change the world

> Inner Archeology with Sarah Turner & Emily Pennystone, a podcast featuring a fellow copywriter and her close friend, for listeners ready to excavate beliefs and experiences that create your current reality

> The Teenage Liberation Handbook by Grace Llewellyn, which I gave to my almost-15-year-old for Christmas and am reading while she's in Mexico with Unschool Adventures

> Teen Mom OG—it's a reality show on MTV. I 100% watch it. You know I'm emerging if I'm telling you that.

And, finally:

> Passionate & Prosperous with Stacey Brass-Russell, a podcast that teaches coaches, creatives & service-oriented individuals how to trust in themselves and leverage their unique message, experience and expertise to attract their ideal audience, create clients and organically build soul-aligned businesses

This weekly email-list ritual has basically become: me, doing therapy, on myself, in public. I hope it's doing something for you, too, but I tell you what: this email list is seeing me through. It's helping me weather the dogs. All of the dogs. In the yard.

One more life raft: my clients. You have no idea how much I adore you.

And, in case it's not obvious, I deeply adore my work.

So, that's it. That's all for today. I have no questions for you this week, though I hope you're having a good one. You can still write anytime.

Oh, and here's this:

New for '22

Carry on, warriors.
