For the newcomers, welcome to MOOD. I am glad you’re here.

I happen to be a pretty good sleeper, but I do need the place to be completely dark. Achieving total blackout has been much easier since I discovered the Nidra sleep mask. It’s lightweight, doesn’t squish the eyelids, and the wraparound strap doesn’t make my head feel like it’s in a vice.

Is your life in shambles this week? Blame Mercury being retrograde. Put down the tech, and bake some comfort food. I tinkered with a scrumptious gougères recipe from chef Alain Ducasse that rebalanced my energy and hopefully will delight your tummy. Best served with bubbles.

Speaking of bubbles … I don’t do a dry January. Every evening, I like a “special drink” once the clock strikes 5PM. Last week I tried a tasty cocktail made with Riverine, a non-alcoholic spirit. Perfect when mixed with this new Fever-Tree tonic flavor

I am not a doctor nor do I play one on TV. However, when someone suggested I do an at-home food sensitivity test, I went for it. 36 food allergies later, I’ve discovered why some days I just feel blah and bloated. Some call it hocus-pocus, but it worked for me.

Johnny Was’s designer throw blankets give me a case of choice paralysis. Rumor has it that once you own one, hold on tight, because everyone wants to share.
